The house was very clean and beautiful. Our kids loved all the games and basketball court.  The scenery was gorgeous and peaceful! We will definitively stay here again. 

We had a great week at this house.  If you're looking for a beautiful, secluded and peaceful place that is also close to the beach, good restaurants and other amenities this is it! The house has great views and it's just minutes away from Assateague Island. You can also go to OC and enjoy then come back to rest and recharge for the next day. Kelly was always responsive and gave us good recommendations.  We really enjoyed everything. 

Our family had a fantastic time at this house, which is absolutely stunning and beautiful.  It had everything we needed and more.  Kelly is a wonderful host. We will certainly be back.

We booked this Airbnb for our wedding weekend, so were able to house most of the bridal party which worked out really well for us.  Plenty of space for all of us!

This house and views were breathtaking and everything was very clean.  For those planning to stay with smaller children, it would be helpful to note that the basement is connected to the main house through the garage, so it may not be a viable sleeping option for young children alone.  The house is also very echo-y, so you hear everything! We loved the proximity to Assateague and Berlin!

We are so happy that you found the views breathtaking and the cleanliness of the house.  We have updated the description to point out that the TV/Hangout room on the first floor is separate from the other parts of the house. Thank you for your feedback on the acoustics of the house.  We have tried to minimize the amount of rugs in the house as keeping them clean is a lot of extra work.  But we will consider adding some more ways to absord the sound.  

Such a wonderful weekend at Assateague Holiday House for our girls weekend. We loved all of the amenities of the house, including the cozy fireplace in the living room.  It was great being so close to the beach, we drove 5 minutes in the morning to catch the sunrise on the beach, but you could even see it right out the back if you wanted to stay in bed. 

​Everything was clean and the linen service was great! We can't wait to come back again to stay in this beautiful home!

A perfect Thanksgiving getaway! The Assateague Holiday House was the ideal setting for our Thanksgiving gathering.  Our family traveled in from Brooklyn, DC, Philadelphia, and Miami. The house was easy to get to and the hosts provided clear access instructions and the guide book in the house was thoughtful and detailed. The house was even better in person.  It is beautiful and thoughtfully designed, with every detail carefully considered. We were a group of 14, and the house comfortably accommodated us all.  The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, making it a breeze to prepare our Thanksgiving feast.  We had some chilly weather so it was great to have the indoor fireplace for some cozy vibes.  We also enjoyed roasting marshmallows over the outdoor fire pit. By far my favorite feature was the view - every room has an amazing view overlooking Assateague Island...sunrise and sunset were gorgeous every night. And the stargazing was incredible too. We took advantage of the nearby attractions, exploring Assateague Island with its pristine beaches and iconic wild horses.  A short drive away, the charming town of Berlin, MD, offers a delightful mix of shops and restaurants.  We can't wait to return in the warmer months to fully enjoy the beach and all that the area has to offer.  

We stayed at this beautiful new home in November, and even though it was off-season we had an amazing time. The home features breathtaking views of Assateague Island and plenty of space to sleep our group of three families spending a weekend together. We took advantage of the pickleball and basketball court, made some group meals in the well-stocked kitchen and especially enjoyed seeing the horses and hiking on Assateague and exploring the restaurants and shops in adorable nearby Berlin. But my favorite part was probably just enjoying the outdoor deck overlooking the water and the changing leaves with my friends and a glass of wine. Would love to come back in the summer but any time of year. 

We loved our stay here! Unforgettable memories made that we will never forget to celebrate our Mom's 60th birthday.  Definitely a lot of stairsv you have to go up and down each day, so make sure you are up for that! The location was great, and we loved the home itself and views from the back deck.  We would love to come back sometime!

My husband and I have always loved Assateague Island and the surrounding area.  So, we thought it would be fun to spend our 10-year anniversary at the Assateague Holiday House with four of other families for a weekend celebration.  Assateague National Seashore is one of our favorite places to camp but we've never rented a house there.  If you want to experience Assateague in ALL its glory (the most amazing bird watching, tons of outdoor activities, proximity to the beach and the historic town of Berlin) this is the house for you. Nestled among the wetlands in the most serene landscape, it COMFORTABLY slept all 14 of us, and provided everything we needed (SUP boards, boogie boards, kayaks, etc) to have a wonderfully relaxing and fun getaway.  

Beautiful home. The house was peaceful and spacious. Location was great.  Short drive to the beach. Close to a lot of local restauraunts and activities.

Found this home while looking for an Ocean City vacation, and glad we did. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and easily fit our group of 11.  With the extra space, we were able to adjust to the rainy weather - the screened in porch, foosball table, and smart TVs provided nice options.  We also visited Assateague Island, a great natural experience (we would've spent a day at the beach and doing water sports if the sun was out.) Highly recommend and would definitely visit again. 

Our family had a lovely long weekend at Assateague Holiday House, and we cannot wait to visit again soon.  The house was thoughtfully designed, well-appointed, and had everything one could wish for in a vacation home.  The views were gorgeous and the setting was peaceful - a true retreat immersed in nature! In terms of the house itself, it lent itself to fun family meals on the screened-in porch or at the roomy dining table - we used both spots several times as we enjoyed cooking in the beautiful kitchen.  Each bedroom was comfortable and had all of the essentials.  Thank you for sharing your lovely home!
